Pinot Noir is Charles' first love, leading him to the Yarra Valley back in 1999, where he developed the Yarra Junction vineyard to plant Burgundian clones for premium Pinot Noir production.

Our signature Estate Pinot is named after founder Charles Smedley’s grandmother, who sent a vision of rolling hills and vines to Charles’ mother in a dream ahead of the family’s first visit to the Dixon’s Creek vineyard in 2006.
